3d aerial modelling
A 3D model allows anyone to quickly navigate around a building, structure or terrain, accurately, without having to leave the office. The 3D model, is built for a collection of high resolution, geo tagged images, that create an interactive and real life digital recreation.
Data can be shared with colleagues, or downloaded in various file formats including OBJ to use with programs like Autocad, or IAS, for use with software including LSS.

case study
Overland were delighted to support English Heritage to create an interactive 3D for marketing and conservation purposes. Utilising a combination of autonomous drone mapping software and various manual photography techniques, we created a high resolution 3D of the Keep, castle walls and moat.
The image above, is a 3D animated model of a eroding turret. The image above is an actual high res image of the same location. This demonstrates how precise and accurate the 3D is we create. Another huge benefit to clients, is this data set is saved to the Cloud, and can be shared with colleagues.
